Factory Reset Procedure – Proroute H685 Router

If you need to restore your H685 router to its factory default settings, follow the steps below carefully:

Step-by-Step Reset Instructions

  1. Power on the router and allow it to fully boot (wait approximately 3-4 minutes).

  2. Perform the reset sequence:

    • Press and hold the reset (RTT) button for 10 full seconds, then release.

  3. Wait for the reset to complete:

    • Leave the router powered on and undisturbed for 5 minutes to allow the factory reset process to complete.
    • The LEDs will all flash then go off. Then the SYS light will be solid green for some time. Once SYS flashes steadily on and off, then the cell light flashes steadily orange, the router is booted and ready. 

  4. Access the router:

    • Once the reset is complete, you can log in using the default credentials.

Default Login Details

  • Router IP Address: 192.168.8.1
  • Username: admin
  • Password: Unique to each router (printed on the label)
